April 6 - Weekly Goals

Hi everyone!  How was your weekend?  I had a great one with the race on Saturday and seeing family on Sunday.   The weather was beautiful so we also got to take Selma out to the park and she loved running around!

Are you ready for a new week to start?  I am!  My plan is a bit different this week- Dan has his 5K this weekend!  I'm also running the 10K alone afterwards, which should be a challenge.  This week is also Passover, and since I go to a Jewish gym a few of my regular classes are cancelled.  I have to rearrange a bit, which is fine.  Here's what the week looks like:

Monday-

3.5 miles

Tuesday-

Group Centergy

Wednesday-

Group Kickboxing + 35 minute tempo

Thursday-

3 miles

Friday-

Rest/shakeout run with Dan

Saturday-

5k race with Dan + 10k race solo

Sunday-

7 miles

What's your plan for the week?
Did you do anything fun this weekend?

  1. Looks like you've got another busy week. Good luck on your races this weekend! I've never done 2 in one day before.

  2. This week is getting back at it. I took a physical and mental break last week, worked on some kinks, and I need to slowly ease back into my training. I didn't eat the greatest starting Thursday but oh well :)

    1. Everyone needs a great break once in a while! I'm sure it's well deserved. Good luck getting back into it this week :)

  3. I'm sure you'll do awesome during the 10k! That's a tricky distance for me to race, but there's nothing like the feeling of crossing the finish line. Good luck!

    1. Thanks so much Danica! I haven't done a 10K very much so I'm not sure how it's going to go. It's all a learning process!! Thanks for stopping by :)
