30 before 30

Hi everyone!   Today is going to be a special post.  I'm doing the most typical blogger thing ever, and writing out a 30 before 30 list!  I turn 25 today, and figured it was the perfect time to list out everything that I want to accomplish in the next five years.  I hope to continue blogging during this next phase of my life, and keep this list updated as I cross each item off!

  7. Splurge on a once-in-a-lifetime meal
  8. Bungee Jump or Sky Dive
  9. Visit Falling Water
  10. Go to all the east-coast MLB stadiums (Remaining stadiums: Marlins Park, Tropicana Field, Turner Field, Citizens Bank Park, Citi Field, Yankee Stadium)

  1. Happy Birthday, that's a pretty good list you got there, if you need a partner to go sky diving with I am your man... That's huge on my bucket list

  2. Happy birthday! Great list! I have been studying for the PMP test for like a year. :-( I feel like I am still so not ready, but at some point I just need to stop studying and take the test. I learned to sew a few years ago and was really into it but haven't done it in a while. It's a fun winter activity for when it's too crappy to be outside.

  3. Happy birthday, Gretchen. I did a bucket list and crossed off things. It's amazing how many come true. One time on a whim I wrote a goal to go to Paris...never imagining that it would really happen.

  5. This is too funny - I also updated my 30 before 30 list over the weekend! We have a few of the same goals, too. Only difference is that I'm a litttttttle bit closer to 30 than you ;)

  6. I'm pleased to say that I've done a lot of those things on your list! I'm also 37 years old, so there's that. I'd love to go sky diving. That's my dream!

  7. Happy belated birthday! Here's to many more great ones ahead! As for your list - I've done a lot of those things, but I'm also quite a bit older than you too, so there's that... haha. I have a friend that is crossing all the MLB ballparks off her list and I dare say she's pretty well through them. I never thought of doing that kind of thing before she started but it seems really fun and a great way to see new places!

  9. What a fun list!! I wish I had made this when I turned 25! So many fun activities!! You should totally add scuba diving! :) I definitely would love to be more financially stable by the time I'm 30, have a significant amount in savings, and hopefully buy a new car. But a more fun goal would be to complete an Ironman, or a half Ironman which would be more realistic with my work schedule. I've successfully completed #2, #3, #6, #13, #17, #18, and #26.

    1. I'm thinking about it..we're going to Belize next year and we're going on a snorkeling trip. I'll see how that goes and decide! I love water, but the thought of being so far down with only a tank keeping me alive freaks me out! You've done so much..that's great Jamie!
