Fall Wish List

Who else is ready and excited for the fall?

As much as I love summer, I'm just about ready for some cooler temperatures.  It was a very hot summer in Pittsburgh (and most other cities) so I'm excited to bring out my jackets and sweaters.  I've always loved fall fashion and fall foods-pumpkin EVERYTHING- so I can't wait for the seasons to change!

Today I'll be sharing what's on my fall wish list in three categories- what I would wear on a fall date, some cozy items, and some athletic gear.  I hope you enjoy, and make sure to check out my other wish lists if you missed them (spring and summer!)

Fall Date

I love anything denim, and fell in love with this dress at Madewell.  It doesn't look like anything special in the picture on hanging up, but one of the employees was wearing it and I fell in love.  It would be perfect for so many occasions, so I had to grab it before it was sold out!
(Other options from Old Navy, Forever 21, HM)

Fall is definitely scarf season, and I love to add a pop of color or pattern with a thin scarf.  I really love how subtle the gravel pattern is on this scarf, and I think it will go really well with tons of colors.  It is also perfect for every season since it doesn't scream "FALL" or "SPRING"!
(Other options from Aritzia, Zara, Target)

Denim + Cognac is always a perfect combination to me.  These booties look really comfortable thanks to the thick wedge (I am NOT a girl who wears heels) and I think these would look great with the dress above or jeans.   Plus, you can't beat that price!
(Other options from HM, Madewell, American Eagle, Urban Outfitters)

I have Nirvana Black in a roller ball, and use it constantly.  The scent is warm and just a hint floral, with some musk as well.  It's the perfect blend of masculine and feminine and I absolutely love it.

Cozy Time

In the fall, I absolutely love throwing on a pair of comfortable jeans (or leggings) with a soft flannel.  It's cozy, cute and easy!  I really love how this top has a hood, and I'm a fan of the traditional colors.
(Other options from Target (just bought this), American Eagle, Madewell)

If you haven't smelled the fall candles at Bath and Body Works, you've been missing out.  I stock up on candles whenever they offer deals (usually something like 2 for $22) and they last forever.  My favorite scent is the Marshmallow Fireside, which is slightly sweet and smoky.
(Other options from Produce, Rewined, Yankee Candle)

A cashmere throw may be a splurge item, but it can be used in many different seasons.  Since it's a lighter-weight material, it's not too warm for those late summer or spring days, but still keeps you cozy and comfortable when the nights get cooler.  I love wearing cashmere sweaters in the fall, so I imagine having a cashmere throw would be incredible.  I love the design of this one from Parachute Home and the large size seems perfect for two!
(Other options from Restoration Hardware, Overstock, Amazon)

Exercise

It's getting darker and darker when I run (either before or after work), so getting really visible clothes is a priority right now.  I love how Brooks has an entire line of High Visibility clothes (which you can check out here!)
(Other options from LuluLemon, Nike, New Balance)

I've always loved the design of these crops.  The reflective parts have a scallop design, which make it overall more feminine and cute!  I also love the side pocket on these and think I might have to pick up a pair ASAP.  These also have fantastic reviews, so I know they'll be fantastic!
(Other options from Target, Athleta, Fabletics)

I've worn New Balance shoes once before and absolutely loved them.  They're comfortable and have really great designs.  I'm thinking about trying out these new Vazee Pace shoes, and especially love the bright color so I stick out during a dark morning run!
(Other options from Brooks, Asics, Mizuno)

Honey Stinger waffles are the perfect pre-race fuel for me, and I'm looking forward to trying new flavors.  The Gingersnap Waffle sounds delicious and the perfect fall snack!  I might have to hold myself back from eating these all the time.

My fall wish list is mostly new cozy sweaters and trying to justify buying a really expensive pair of kate spade booties. While patiently waiting for fall weather to arrive; it was in the 90s yesterday.
