Currently [April]

I can't believe it's already time for another "currently" survey!  I love doing these each month to see how things change (or stay the same) from month to month.  As usual, I'm joining Anne and Jenna!



Making - lists on lists on lists.  Thank goodness I can keep them all organized with my bullet journal (which has been a life saver in the past few weeks).  I'm making packing lists, shopping lists, cleaning lists, to-do lists...it's exhausting!


Wish Listing - just about everything!  I'm about halfway through my 6-month no-buy challenge, so I'm lusting after all of the spring clothes coming out.  I'm going to be sharing my spring wish list in a few weeks, but for now here are a few things I want to buy:

- obsessed with this print.. (also in a skirt, dress, blouse, pants, shorts, and bathing suit.  Too far?)
- love this adorable jumpsuit
- found the perfect maxi dress for spring/summer
- the colors in this palette look so gorgeous, and it smells like peaches?!


Cleaning - constantly!  We're moving everything out slowly but surely (more on that tomorrow) which means a lot of cleaning.  Good thing I kept up with my cleaning schedule for the past few months!

Tasting - delicious food at Bonefish Grill.  My parents took Dan and me out to celebrate closing on our house, and had a fantastic dinner.  I had boom boom shrimp for an appetizer, a mule to drink, and salmon with a bacon butter jelly.  It was all incredible!

    I LOVE that print from J. Crew! I was at the store and wanted to buy everything with the pattern. Packing/moving is the worst, I never understand how I accumulate so much in such a short amount of time. Good luck with everything!

    That dinner sounds sooo good! Oh my gosh yum. For once my current wish list isn't too long.. haha. Basically anything from Lulu Lemon though which is nothing new haha.

    The warm and sunny weather always makes me want to go shopping also! After winter the colors on spring clothes are so welcome.

    So I bought a bunch of cute Spring dresses and it's driving me up the wall that it's STILL not warm enough to wear them! They are just hanging in the closet, taunting me! Ugh I am SO ready to put my sweaters and boots away!! But that means the world has to endure the sight of my pale pasty legs, lol.

    I need a cleaning schedule. Add that to my "after the marathon" list that is growing exponentially by the day...lol

Relationship Rules I Broke (and WEDDING PHOTOS!)

Happy Thursday everyone! Today I have a different type of post to share today.  I don't talk about relationships or my dating life much on the blog, but I'm switching it up today!  I got married last Friday, and I thought it would be fun to share some relationship rules that I broke while Dan and I dated. Towpath Half Marathon Recap

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday!  Today I'll be recapping my race this weekend, the Towpath Half Marathon.  Overall, I had a great experience at the race and would definitely recommend it!  Before I dive into the mile-by-mile recap, I just wanted to give some overall thoughts and reviews of the race as a whole. The Towpath Marathon features three races- a full marathon, half marathon and 10k.  All three races are in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, but all run different courses.  The half and 10k start at the Brandywine Ski Resort, while the full starts at the Boston Mills Ski Resort (where the expo is held). The course is mostly on a narrow crushed limestone trail that is relatively flat.  There are a few sections that were paved and a few small walking bridges that provided the only real inclines.  It's really hard to pass people (particularly near the turn where it's two-way traffic) since the trail is so narrow. Review- Group Power

Happy Weekend everyone!  Today, I'll be doing a review of another group exercise I do at my gym called Group Power !  Let's get right into it. First off, the description in our program guide is "This 60-minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls." I don't exactly look like this when I'm curling..but you get the idea! Let me tell you, this is one intense workout!  For the entire 60 minutes, we're constantly moving and lifting and by the end I'm a pool of sweat!  We work out all the major muscle groups - Legs, Chest, Triceps, Biceps, Glutes, Shoulders, and Core with light to moderate weights.  We also use a step to do exercises like chest presses and split squats.
